The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), a leading spacefaring nation, is now focusing on educating school children about space exploration.
How is ISRO Contributing to Space Education?
ISRO has successfully accomplished many space missions, including 124 spacecraft missions, 96 launch vehicle missions, 17 student satellites, 6 re-entry missions, and the launch of 432 foreign satellites.
To further its educational mission, ISRO’s Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) in Dehradun has announced a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) titled “Overview of Space Exploration” for school students.

The objective of this online course is to provide knowledge and awareness to school students on various aspects of space science and technology.
