  1. Our holly river Ganga has been polluted by humanity only. People wash their clothes, and utensils on the banks of the river Ganga and they also pollute the river by throwing pooja waste or flowers and diyas. Some people also dump the ashes or sometimes the dead body of a human as the river is said to be holly. Many years ago this river was home to dolphins and many other aquatic animal but as the river started getting polluted the supply of oxygen decreased in the water. Ganga river was said to be the purest water of the world. People visits ganga to wash their sins but little do they no that they are also harming Ganga.
