CBSE Practical Exams to begin from 1 January 2023, Read details here
The examinations are to be conducted by CBSE in February. For this, CBSE has started preparations to conduct the board examinations of the session 2022-23 on time. Practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments of this session will start on January 1 in schools across the country. At the same time, according to the schedule issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education, practical examination and internal assessment will be conducted for winter-bound schools from the month of November.
Soon detailed notification for practical examinations of other schools across the country will be issued. To avoid any kind of trouble, this time the board will get the labs of all the schools checked before the practical exam. CBSE has sent a letter to all the schools about this. In the letter sent to the schools, the board will give details about this.
An Official Letter will be sent to all the Schools by CBSE
In the CBSE Sent letter to the schools, it is written that CBSE has formed a team of externals. The lab will be examined three to four days before the practical examination by the external appointed at each examination center. During this, the facilities for the students in the lab, lab instruments, materials available for use, etc. will be checked by the external. Only after this, the practical examination of the students of class 10th and 2nd board will be taken in the respective school. Practical exams in CBSE schools are starting on January 1.
A committee of two members has been formed by the board for the practical examination. These will include external and internal persons.
Classes 10 and 12 CBSE exams will start from 1 January 2023
In this, the appointment of external will be done by the board. At the same time, the internal will be appointed by the principal of the school concerned. No school authorities are authorized to conduct the practical exam. The conduct of the practical examination/project will be arranged by an examiner appointed by the evaluation board at the local level. App links will be provided to schools for uploading group photos during the practical exam. During this, the software will ensure that the uploaded images are geotagged and time tagged. Also need to upload the batch number, total batch, date, and time.
Exams will start from 5 in winter-bound Schools
Practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for class 10 and 12 students in winter-bound schools will begin on November 5 and will continue till December 4. Along with this, CBSE said that the extension of the dates will not be considered. The board has also directed the winter-bound schools to ensure that if there are more than 20 students in class 40 and class 2, the exam will be conducted in two or three sessions in a day.
