Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Nomination Last Date ExtendedÂ
The Central Government gives the Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (National Children’s Award) every year to encourage children who have done phenomenal work in education, sports or any other field. This time too, applications for children’s awards were sought and the last date for applications was in September. But, giving a big relief, the government has extended the last date of application by one month.
The Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Nomination is organized to celebrate and encourage the energy, determination, ability, and enthusiasm of the children of the country.
The Government of India distributes national awards for doing specific work or achievements in different fields. In this episode, the Prime Minister’s National Child Award (Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar) is also distributed. The application process is going on to get the Bal Puraskar for the year 2023. The registration process for applying for these awards was started in August.
According to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the last date to apply for the Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bal Puraskar was 30 September 2022, which has been extended by the ministry to 31 October 2022. According to the ministry, applications reaching till 5.00 pm on the last date will be accepted. Applications received after this will not be considered.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development informed that the new National Awards Portal (https://awards.gov.in/) has become operational. Applicants have been requested to register for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 on the National Awards Portal (https://awards.gov.in/). According to the ministry, those who have previously applied on the old PMRPB portal (https://nca-wcd.nic.in/) will have to apply again on the national portal.
Which children get the National Children’s Award?
Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is given by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. There is a guideline of the ministry for which children will get this award.
According to the guideline, this award will be given to those children who are citizens of India and live in India. The age of such children should be more than 5 years and less than 18 years.
