26 January Republic Day Speech Sample
Good morning respected Principal, teachers, and all my dear friends.
My name is Arnav Yadav, and I wish you all a very happy Republic Day.
Today is the 26th of January, the Republic Day of our country. This day is a national festival of our country. On this day, our Constitution came into force on the 26th of January, 1950. Republic Day is as important to us as Independence Day.
The Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. Our Constitution is the largest written constitution in the whole world. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is the father of our Constitution.
Today, we are a great republic. Republic means a country whose leader is a president, not a king or queen. This would not have been possible if our freedom fighters had not made numerous sacrifices for the independence of the country.
I am proud that I am an Indian.
Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.”
