Punjab School Timing Change – New Schedule Takes Effect from 1st November
PSEB New Timing for Winter Session: School Timings in Punjab Altered Once Again in Anticipation of Winter; Students to Follow New Schedule. Read Details
Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has mandated a change in school timings due to the onset of cold weather. Effective November 1st, the Punjab School Timing Change will be in place across the state for all government, aided, and recognized schools.
Primary Schools to Adjust Hours
In line with the Punjab School Timing Change from November, all primary schools will now operate from 9 am to 3 pm. This school timing change is set to provide relief to students during the chilly mornings and is expected to last until February 28 in Punjab.
Extended Hours for Senior Classes
The Punjab School Timing Change also extends to middle, high, and senior secondary schools of punjab, with the new schedule running from 9 am to 3:20 pm. This slight extension accounts for the dense fog of the season that can disrupt visibility and transportation.
Safety First: Winter Challenges Addressed
The decision for the Punjab School Timing Change comes as a measure to protect students and staff from the harsh winter conditions. Foggy mornings and cold temperatures necessitate later start times to ensure everyone’s well-being.
In Punjab’s major cities, recent temperature swings have reinforced the need for timing adjustments. With maximum temperatures dropping and minimum temperatures averaging around 15 to 17 degrees Celsius, the Punjab School Timing Change reflects a responsive educational system.
Minister Bains’s orders aim to maintain health and safety as winter intensifies, signaling the government’s proactive approach to seasonal changes. Keep an eye on local announcements for any further updates related to the Punjab School Timing Change as the season progresses.
