Punjab Schools Announce Temporary Closure Due to Heavy Rains
Punjab – In a recent announcement that will affect the routines of countless students across the state, Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, the Education Minister of Punjab, declared a temporary closure of all schools in the region. This directive follows continuous heavy rainfall that has raised safety concerns across the state.
In a statement released on behalf of the Punjab Government, Mr. Bains declared, “As per the directions of the Honorable Chief Minister Punjab, Bhagwant Maan ji, due to the ongoing inclement weather and keeping student safety as our paramount concern, we have decided to close all government, aided, recognized, and private schools in the state.”
ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਏਡਿਡ/ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਤੀ 13 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2023 ਤੱਕ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
