PSEB Extends Admission Dates for Board Classes
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has pushed back the final dates for admissions to its board classes. Now, students can apply for fifth, eighth, and twelfth board classes until July 31.
Previously, the Punjab School Education Board had set May 15 as the final date for admissions.
PSEB Revised Fee Structure for Open School Students
In addition to the extension, PSEB has also altered the fee structure for students entering open school. Those enrolling in open school for class X will now face a fee of Rs 2,300.
The PSEB examination fee is set at Rs 900, with an additional Rs 100 per practical exam. Should students need to reappear in the 10th open exam, a fee of Rs 1150 will apply.
For performance enhancement, a fee of Rs 1900 is required, and an additional Rs 350 is necessary for extra subjects.
PSEB Fee Changes for 12th Open Classes
For students enrolling in 12th open classes, the annual fee is now Rs 2750. The examination fee stands at Rs 1350 and Rs 150 per practical class.
Students who need to reappear for exams will face a fee of Rs 1500. For performance enhancement, a fee of Rs 2200 will apply, with an additional fee of Rs 350 for extra subjects.
Implementation and Compliance with the New Fee Structure
The revised fee structure has been in place since the commencement of the April session. Students are required to pay their fees in accordance with the new system.
